We have lost a fellow human who was an absolute creative genius. He was a not only a genius, but, also, an individual of unbelievable great wisdom. That is definitely emulated in this awesome speech. It is inspiring and heartfelt. I hope you enjoy...
"Live each day as if it is your last..." part of Steve Job's speech.

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
Spring is almost here. The clocks have changed and the birds are singing. Is this a good time to start your own life anew? It indeed is! Change how you speak if nothing else.
We all say things that sabotage our lives. We say words that seem so innocent, and yet have such an impact on our personal world and those around us. We all live in our own world that we create with our WORDS: Powerful, life-changing words that can be good or very bad.
Remember the fairy tale, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves? What are your thieves that take things away from you everyday. Is it words that express worry or fear? Do you accentuate your aches and pains? Do you criticize your spouse or children and make jest of them or situations-all in fun? Every time we say something, put "as you wish" after it. If you do that, you may discover that many words you say everyday may be stealing happiness from you. Choose wisely what words you use.
Have a great day,
Donna

Cheerfulness Brings A Better Tomorrow
There's wisdom in having joy despite outward circumstances. Scripturally that is what we are encouraged to do. It's part of having faith: Standing instead of giving up. Here is a poem that exemplifies this:
Thank God for the man who is cheerful
In spite of life's troubles, I say;
Who sings of a bright tomorrow,
because of the clouds of today.
His life is a beautiful sermon,
And this is the lesson to me--
Meet trials with smiles and they vanish;
Face cares with a song and they flee.
Have joy in the Lord for it's our stength.
God bless you,
Donna

Today Is Your Day
"Now" is a wonderful word. It is the moment we have. Living in the NOW gives us power since our concentration is in the moment; it is only on today. We are not regretting the past, or worrying about what is to come in the future, which, all too often, we find never comes anyway.
Today is your day-Live it,
Donna
Words of wisdom:
"Today is your day and mine, the only day we have, the day in which we play a part. What our part may signify in the great whole, we may not understand, but we are here to play it, and now is our time. This we know, it is not cynicism. It is for us to express love in terms of helpfulness. This we know, for we have learned from sad experience that any other source of life leads towards decay and waste." ---David Starr Jordan
So live life always in the now, in the today, and joy will be yours."

Only Listen to Good-Not Gossip
There was a writer, Ada Sweet, who had many words of wisdom that it would be wise for all of us to consider. I am going to post one of them for you here today:
"Avoid the personal view, the small view, the critical and fault finding view. Run away from gossip as from a pestilence, and keep in your soul great ideals and ideals to solace solitude. They will drive out petty worries, conceits and thoughts of carking care."
Do run from gossip. You know the old saying: If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck; it's a duck? Well, if it sounds like gossip, looks like gossip, and feels like gossip; it's gossip, and just walk away from it. Only listen to and share good things about one another. With that, you can't go wrong.
Live in happy thoughts,
Donna
